The LNK-XS1208 Series 10Gigabit Data Center Switch is a layer 2 non-blocking switch that has high performance, doing full wire-speed forwarding with a Broadcom chip and 258Gbps switching capacity as well as 192Mpps forwarding performance.
Its intuitive design features a modular design with 12 10G SFP+ optical ports, 8 10/100/1000M RJ45 electrical ports, 1 Console port, 1 OOB management port that offers plenty of bandwidth for data aggregation and data exchange. This flexibility allows users to select appropriate 10G ports in order to best respond to their network requirements.
Due to its high bandwidth and low latency, the LNK-XS1208 Series is suitable for data center applications in the next generation of cloud computing networks, as well as access networks for large Internet cafes and enterprise cores. It can also be used for metropolitan area networks or aggregation.

With 258Gbps backplane bandwidth, the industry the highest performance (1U TOR) in hardware routing, wire speed packet rate reached 192Mpps, L2 / L3 forward full speed; able to be deployed in the Metropolitan Area Network and provide several last kilometer technology.
Safe and Reliable:
To provide DOS, DDOS, spoofing and virus defense, supports IEEE802.1x, providing port-based user authentication, network shield, safety control, and policy control technology. Restrict the maximum number of hosts connected with the port, multi-binding Ethernet interface, increasing bandwidth and system redundancy. The powerful ACL also supports L2-L4 data filtering, and policy control list and flow regulation.
Convenient in Operation and Maintenance:
Supports flexible port configuration for management supports Web, SNMP and telnet. Support XModem protocol, uses TFTP/ZMODEM to software upgrading and BootRom upgrading. Also supports SFP+, backwards compatible XFP, and can enter or exit low-power condition from PHY.
